A Letter from Gudmoney
Gudmoney

Dear friend,

Have you ever opened your Swiggy app at midnight, ordered biryani, and then realised it was the third one this week? Or maybe Blinkit showed up with snacks faster than your self-control, while UPI pings keep playing hide-and-seek with your memory? Add in a Zomato binge or two, and a blur of UPI spends on chai, cabs, and “bro I’ll pay you back soon” moments… and suddenly your money has vanished into thin air.

We know that feeling. That’s why we built Gudmoney. Not to lecture you, not to guilt-trip you, but to give you a simple, friendly way to note down what you spent. Just send us a WhatsApp message in your own words — “200 on Zomato dinner”, “500 cab to airport”, “chai ₹30” — and it’s logged. No forms to fill, no apps to open every night.

Gudmoney starts with WhatsApp because it’s where we already live our digital lives, and typing feels natural. Over time, we’ll also support a webapp and mobile app for those who like dashboards, but the soul of Gudmoney will always belightweight, conversational, and easy.

And in the future, we see Gudmoney making life smoother in all kinds of ways: couples keeping track of shared household spends without awkward “you owe me” chats, singles setting aside weekend budgets without losing track, and groups of friends splitting expenses on that Goa trip where memories last forever but receipts usually don’t.

We are not a bank. We don’t do loans, credit, insurance, or investments. We don’t want your PAN card or Aadhaar. All we want is to make expense tracking feel lighter, calmer, and maybe even a little fun.

With warmth,
Team Gudmoney ❤️
